A busy house...

June 2019

The beginning of June Jeremy, Naomi and the boys moved in with us. The arrived to NM the day Teryl was born and had been staying with Naomi’s sister. They are still doing some remodeling to their new house and got to spend some time with us in between. It was such a blessing for me to have some company in the house during the day and I was so glad Aunt Omi and the boys got to know T when she was so little.

Because we were still having a hard time catching on to the breast feeding we went had some craniosacral therapy... I’m not sure how much it helped, but it sure did seem to relax Teryl.
We had a couple play days in Aunt Suz and Uncle Tom’s back yard, it is so relaxing and she always has fun activities planned for the boys.


And then Teryl’s first plane flight on June 14th! We flew to Virginia to see the Moyers (Steve’s Sister Crystalin & family) and Quinten’s graduation. It was perfect weather, we decided to fly business class so we would have a little more room. It all went quite smoothly for only being almost 2 months old.










Teryl sleeps best when she is swaddled up and a pacifier is very soothing for her too.

 Teryl’s cousins have decided that she needs to have a lovey and every time she starts to cry they run to get this bunny and make sure she knows it is close. We have decided to name it Honey Bunny.

Walks with Danni and Kendyl at the park are so fun too.


The last weekend of June Aunt Lynn came to visit from Dallas and got to meet Teryl for the first time. It was so much fun to have her around.








And it was so fun to just spend every moment with Teryl getting to introduce her to our families.


And Tery’s first swim in the pool! 



I love my baby girl.

July 2019 I love her giggles and grunts and the movements of her arms The Browns have finally started to unpack some of there important items and they recently came over “all dressed up” to see T & Tenley. On July 4th when our sweet girl was just 6 weeks old she took her second plane trip to San Diego.  She did great on the plane and arrived ready for adventure! We got to visit my dear friends Erin and Daniel Watts and meet Jade, Elle and Cole too! They all adored Teryl so much and they even babysat one evening so Steve and I got to go on a date!  We went to the beach, got pizza, ice cream and lots of hikes and running and walking along the ocean. A new-ish normal...

 Getting used to a new normal has brought a needed calm and the ability to learn to appreciate the slow days with Sweet T and some new tricks this month. Lunch with the boys.... Lots of special time with Seth while Jamison and Sayer are a school. First smiles make this all worth it... Lazy days by the pool First pool party with Steve’s work colleagues  Started rolling over, so now our arms are no longer in the swaddle Watching Dad make dinner Your bedroom, which includes the rocking chair that Great Grandpa Bob gave to Great Grandma Sally when Grandpa Scott was born - but with new upholstery it is perfect in your room. The first 10 days

April 2019 And the rest of April was a blur.. The day that we got home from the hospital we had a lot of visitors. Aunt Suz and Uncle Tom came by in the afternoon. Annie came by for a quick yellow & all of her family too. Grandma & Grandpa and Uncle Rick (who was in town for a visit) and then Naomi and the boys came by and also got to open their Easter baskets. That was an unexpected busy day. I really could just not believe that you were out side of me and that all of this was real and how quickly our life had changed. We had lots of friends who brought over dinners and got to meet our Teryl. Dad went back to work the day after you were born and I felt quite overwhelmed and had no idea what I was doing. We had to go to the clinic when you were 2 days old and they were amazed at how well you were doing, but then we went back for a 4 day visit to the lactation specialist and you had lost a lot of weight.
