A busy house...

June 2019 The beginning of June Jeremy, Naomi and the boys moved in with us. The arrived to NM the day Teryl was born and had been staying with Naomi’s sister. They are still doing some remodeling to their new house and got to spend some time with us in between. It was such a blessing for me to have some company in the house during the day and I was so glad Aunt Omi and the boys got to know T when she was so little. Baths in the kitchen sink... Because we were still having a hard time catching on to the breast feeding we went had some craniosacral therapy... I’m not sure how much it helped, but it sure did seem to relax Teryl. We had a couple play days in Aunt Suz and Uncle Tom’s back yard, it is so relaxing and she always has fun activities planned for the boys. And then Teryl’s first plane flight on June 14th! We flew to Virginia to see the Moyers (Steve’s Sister Crystalin & family) and Quinten’s graduation. It was perfect weather, we decid...

Survival...

May 2019 The month of May was mostly just my baby and me. Steve was back at work full time and I was not working at the hospital.... I have never stayed home this much and have never not worked for this long. But the hours ran together, the days ran together and were marked only by the doctor’s appointments that we went to. Teryl was quite yellow and had elevated bilirubin, so we had 4 trips to urgent care for blood draws to make sure her  liver was doing what it needed to do. So hard to watch them try to draw blood from tiny little hands.  We kept working at breast feeding, which was so hard and so painful, but we persevered.  Lots of night feedings... lots of tired mornings, and eventually afternoons out by the pool.  Steve trained for his first triathlon and completed on Mother’s Day.
